What is proofreading and what it is used for
Proofreading is the correction of grammatical, spelling, stylistic, or professional errors in translations, made by a translator. Lately, it becomes a standard procedure especially in translations of texts intended for publication. The proofreading is not done by an interpreter, but by a specialized person (proofreader), who is dedicated to corrections of errors.
Types of Proofreading
In terms of purpose and way of execution, we distinguish several types of proofreading, which can of course be combined:

- Technical proofreading – the proofreader removes mistakes in the order of pages and chapters, completeness of attachments or readability of the texts intended for publications (in broader context than preprint proofreading);
