Do you organize a wedding abroad or with a foreigner in the Czech Republic?

Under the international law you will ALWAYS need:

1) Birth certificate
2) Eligibility for marriage

Birth certificate

We will prepare it for you quickly, in high quality and for reasonable prices.

A birth certificate issued in the Czech Republic to a Czech citizen. It must be certified by the stamp of the Regional Authority which issued it. We can arrange it ourselves if the Birth Certificate was issued in Prague or Central Bohemia.

If you are born in another region / municipality in the Czech Republic, you must send your Birth Certificate to the appropriate registry office for verification. The fee is 100, -CZK in cash. After their verification, it will be sent back to you by post (the state authorities have 30 days to prepare the document).

If you would require the settlement from our company, we need the Power of Attorney to issue duplicates of all registry documents.

We will then process the Apostille Clause (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) for a fee of 2.500, – CZK + 100, – CZK stamps.

If it is a foreigner who wants to marry in the Czech Republic, he must have his / her Birth Certificate – Apostille Clause issued in the country of origin.

Eligibility for marriage

Same procedure as for Birth certificate. Eligibility must be verified and issued by the registry office of the country office where the person was born.

It is legalized in the same way as the Birth certificate.

Divorce judgement

If you have already had a marriage that was divorced, a divorce judgement is also required for legalization and translation.

Confirmation on religion

Required only in Muslim countries (Egypt). They require confirmation of your religion, in our countries: baptism certificate. If you’re not baptized, so you publish affidavit that you converted to the Islamic faith. This declaration does not need to be drawn up with a notary.

The legalized documents thus produced are intended for  court/legal translation into / from the language in which they are stated.
The internationally recognized language accepted by most embassies is English, but this is not the rule.

It is best to always inquire in advance about the current information at the embassy.
